In this article, we talk about how we solved the client’s problem of “visually demonstrating our services” through the coordinated work of the company’s departments and experience in creating websites for niches where it is important for the end customer to visually evaluate the result of the work.
During the development of the site, the initial concept was changed. As a result, the client received a site that exceeded his expectations in terms of visuals and launch time.
We were approached by the company "Living Fence", which is engaged in landscaping and improvement of territories:
lawn seeding, roll lawn, automatic watering
planting, cutting down trees
earthworks
paving paths, installing fences
The client wanted to launch a shopify website design new website from scratch to clearly show their services to future customers. To do this, they ordered:
business card website
copywriting
buttons in the site header for messengers: Telegram and WhatsApp.
We approved the plan, set the deadline for the site to be ready - 5 working days, and launched the process.
Preparation
The first thing the account manager did was discuss the brief with the client.
The client spoke in detail about his business and how he helps his customers. He stated specific tasks and expectations from the new site. He provided dozens of high-quality photographs with all types of work.

We armed ourselves with the information we had collected and began the next stage of work together with the website production department.
Production
When the technical specialists got acquainted with the brief and saw the materials provided by the client, they decided to abandon the copywriting and instead offer the client a module with photos. This way we will improve the visual component of the site and show his landscaping work in all its glory.
In general, such a change of plan is acceptable at the production stage. Since at the beginning the client sees his site based on his own ideas and expectations. When our technical specialists get down to work, they see the future site from different angles. Thanks to their experience and insight, the guys understand which solution will be the most effective for the client.
The account manager studied the proposal of technical specialists and went to coordinate the changes with the client. She told him that in his case, real, live photos would convey the value and demonstrate the quality of his services better than a thousand words.
The client studied the new plan for the site structure and abandoned copywriting in favor of a block with photographs.
Portfolio or Gallery?
Next we faced a choice. Which of the blocks, "Portfolio" or "Gallery", would show the client's work most favorably.
At first glance, these modules are similar, as they have the same cost and perform the same task - they clearly show the company's work.
