The combination of the LDV runnersomg.com and the Waffle Racer sees us presented with a multi-layered, multi-faceted design that builds on last year’s mix of materials, only this time it opts for a near complete nylon construction, intertwined with leather and suede.The double layering lent itself perfectly to the multi-coloured designs of last year. Off-set swooshes and unilateral lines meant the likes of the LDV Waffle Green Pink and Daybreak Blue could have contrasting colour schemes going on in the same look without the two clashing.

The sacai x Nike LDWaffle is shown in both Varsity Blue/Varsity Red and Green Gusto/Varsity Maize color scheme. Following this release of the two initial colorways of the hit sneaker in the spring of 2019, this fall release opts for a more neutral look by shedding the bright colors in favor of a grey and white palette. However, just a touch of bright color is added to the orange detailing on the tongue logo and insole graphic.
